Frequently asked questions

What is Bede’s Giving Day?

A single 36-hour digital giving initiative in which we ask the entire Bede’s community to come together to support our pupils and staff as we look to make a difference and transform lives across our local community.

With thousands of pounds to unlock in matched and challenge funding, it’s a day like no other and your gift will go even further than usual.

It will be a transformational day of giving and it’s all about what we can achieve together.

Bede’s first ever Giving Day will take place on 21 - 22 June 2023. We’re excited for you to join us!

Where will the funds go?

Your gift goes directly to the Bede’s Transformational Bursary Fund and you can find out more about this on our homepage. Your gift will help to fund 110% transformational bursaries which cover a pupil’s fees, transport, uniform and co-curricular programme so that they face no barrier to the opportunities Bede’s provides when they take up their place.

All gifts, of every size, will make a real difference. With thousands to unlock in matched and challenge funds, gifts go even further than usual. All gifts, of whatever size, add up and make a significant difference. Having a large number of donors encourages others to support us too, so we would love as many members of our community to participate in Bede’s Giving Day as possible.

How can I make my gift?
